NASHVILLE’S BEST HOT CHICKEN AND MORE

Nashville, TN is known as “Music City” but it is also a huge FOODIE CITY! It’s known for that Nashville Hot Chicken, but there is so much more to it.

Here are some of our favorites for food (and a little music) from our trip to Nashville.

Breakfast at Puckett’s Grocery and Pancake Pantry

Puckett’s Grocery and Pancake Pantry were two of our favorite breakfast spots in Nashville. Brisket Hash was my favorite at Puckett’s, and the best menu items I tried at Pancake Pantry was the candied bacon (it wasn’t even the pancakes, ha!).

The Best Hot Chicken in Nashville

During our visit, we of course had to stand in line at the famous Hattie B’s to try their Nashville hot Chicken.

Being the risk taker that I am, I decided to go for Hattie B’s hottest level – Shut The Cluck Up! Needless to say, I could not finish it.

Skull’s Amazing Dinner Scene

One of our top favorite restaurants in all of Nashville was Skull’s Rainbow Room in Printers Alley. Absolutely amazing drinks, we recommend the Signature Skull #4.

The food at Skull’s was out of this world, the rack of lamb was phenomenal and the peanut butter pie is a must!

Drinks at Our Favorite Honky Tonk Bars

We visited Broadway, experiencing a few honky tonk bars and live country music. Our favorites were the famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge (the oldest honky tonk) and The Stage on Broadway. Even if you are not a country music fan, sitting at the bar, grabbing a bloody mary, and enjoying the atmosphere is a vibe on its own.

All in all, Nashville is a great weekend getaway for music and foodie lovers alike. A city worth the visit and with lots to offer, we will definitely be back for more!
